Gareth Carter is based in Oadby, Leicestershire.

After graduating with a BA in Photography and Video at De Montfort University, Leicester, Gareth continued to focus on his true passion of computer-based photo manipulation and enhancement, which developed from past art projects using Adobe Photoshop.

The use of flatbed film scanners to create abstract art called scannographs, has led to his fascination with old documents, and especially photographic negatives/prints.

Combining this with his digital retouching skills he has created ‘GC Digital Archivist’, so that YOU CAN SAVE YOUR PHOTO HERITAGE
